Founded in Athens in 1979 by pharmacists Niki and Nikos Koutsianas, the company’s name means “life of the bee” in Latin, reflecting its core philosophy inspired by bee products and Greek nature.

APIVITA’s products are formulated using value-added bee products and medicinal plants, with 85% to 100% natural ingredients, and are free from harsh chemicals. Sustainability and Social Responsibility
APIVITA is dedicated to environmental and social responsibility. They are the first Greek company to achieve B Corp certification. Ownership
APIVITA is a private company and part of the Spanish Puig Group, which gained a majority interest in 2017. The founders, Niki and Nikos Koutsianas, kept a share and remained involved.
