Albal® is a core brand within Cofresco, which has been a 100% subsidiary of the Melitta Group since 2014. The Melitta Group, founded in 1908 by the inventor of the coffee filter, Melitta Bentz, is a family business.

The Albal® brand itself was launched in 1965.

Product Range:
The brand offers a wide range of solutions for food management (cooking, fresh-keeping, baking, freezing) and waste management. Specific products include:

Aluminum foil:
Known for being extra strong and often featuring a double honeycomb structure.
Plastic wrap/cling film.

Baking paper:
Features a non-stick silicone coating and is made from FSC-certified pulp.
